What is it? BALOO Training will help leaders of Cub Scouts become more aware of outdoor activities; and help them use Cub Scout outdoor skills. Learn simple but fun Cub Scout hikes, outdoor games, cooking, knife safety, knots and more—plus fun and fellowship with fellow Scouters! This course covers all requirements for BALOO and Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders. These courses have been combined into one BALOO training.
Pre-requisite: All participants must complete the online BALOO prerequisite on my.scouting.org. Please bring proof of this training. No dinner will be served on Friday evening. Please eat before you arrive. Plan to be at Kelsey Short between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. The program starts at 6:30 PM and you will need to have your tent set up by that time. Training will conclude by 4:00 pm on Saturday. Bring your current Health and Medical Record with you.
Registration Deadline: October 17, 2018 (No walk-ins can be accepted on the weekend)
